Folks,
I just returned from the Cy-Falls/Cy-Ridge game and you're not in any way going to be disappointed in the two future Aggies.
Roger Holland (ASN #59) had 9 catches for approx. 142 yards and 2 touchdowns - AT HALFTIME! Holland runs great routes and explodes out of his cuts, knows how to position his body for the catch and his father - Roger Holland II (class of 75) - says that one of his best attributes is that "he catches everything thrown his direction."
Stephens is BIG and FAST and every bit deserving of his ASN #11 rank.

I'm telling you right now - everyone has this kid too low. I'm moving him up and he's already #59 on my list. The 9 catches for about 140 and two scores - AT HALFTIME - is enough for me. He's moving inside the top 50
Great routes, explosive out of his cuts, excellent speed and a nice set of hands. Great addition to the A&M receiving corps.

I can't say enough about this kid. He was tremendous.......Must be voted the Houston offensive player of the week for this performance. Absolutely phenominal!

I was hoping to see him square off against this kid, Cy-Ridge's #6 Royce Hill, a very good CB for the 08 class, but he was supposedly injured and didn't dress......

And I didn't get a picture of #10 for Cy-Ridge - (QB) Russell Shepard - but you can go ahead and mark him down now-- a tremendous talent, very athletic and quick with a nice arm. Might be listed as an athlete in that class, but he made a couple of extremely nice throws that made me raise my eyebrows....I mean Chris Leak (Fla.), Reggie McNeal - type throws....very tight spiral. He's gonna be a good one! Wish I had a pic, but I wanted to watch the (A&M commits) and Cy-Falls kids. I still have more pics. Will get them to you later

Sounds like it was a great conclusion to a very good high school game! For those not in Houston, 34-33 Cy-Falls. Extra point blocked.
And Roger's final numbers were 11 for 155, 3 touchdowns and a two point conversion.

On the layout - I aprreciate your comments! In the future I'm hoping to write a story on the commits and then have a gallery of the pics taken during the game, but I wanted to get some of these up so that folks could see them. I'm still a work in progress - learning along the way

program has him at 6'0 195 .. rivals/texasprep has him clocked at 4.52 / 40 .. hear he is on the aggie board in the top 12-15 ...

Boy those two look like keepers. Holland can catch that ball and looking at that cornerback on the ground it looks like his routes are crisp. My first look at Sheppard you can see he has been pumping a lot of iron!

QB Jeff Welch of Cy Falls is flying under the recruiting radar.
He is hearing from numerous colleges but, not yet receiving the full credit for the kind of player he is.
Jeff is leading 17-5a in passing with over 1,000 yards in 5 games and number 6 in south and east Texas area.
He his a tremendous leader and winner.
I look at Chase Daniels of Mizzou and see Jeff Welch.

Holland is the steal of the class so far.....T Murph was a 2 star...for anyone paying attention. Can't wait to see you lighting up Kyle Field.
