Freshman Kevin Cravey (Klein Oak High School) earned the win tonight for the Famers and threw a great game! In his 6 innings of work he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits before giving way to another freshman, Scott Migl (Houston - St. Pius). Jordan Chambless recorded the save as he struck out Justin Walker to end the game.

3B Blake Stouffer led the way at the plate for the Farmers going 3-for-5 while Darby Brown drove in 3 runs.

The Plowboys were led at the plate by SS Brandon Hicks who hit a bomb over the left field wall.

Kyle Nicholson took the loss for the Plowboys.

Freshman pitchers are making their mark for the Ags this Fall.

Just last night it was freshman Michael Heard (Montgomery High School) who picked up the win in relief for the Plowboys as he threw 2 2/3 innings of shutout relief.

Shane Minks (Columbia High School), last night's starter for the Plowboys, has had some great outings this Fall.

Kyle Colligan returns for the Ags in centerfield. The additions of Hicks (SS) and Dane Carter (2B), along with a host of other capable players, appear as if it will make this team strong up the middle. There are still many positions up for grabs - the competition is strong - but it's my opinion that the Ags are going to have to be dealt with this Spring.

A much better approach at the plate as the hitters are pounding the ball to all fields.

Great stuff out there tonight....here's a few pics from the evening

Winning pitcher Kevin Cravey
